| Brian had his D-18AG over, we drank a bottle of Merlot and did some pickin' ...was fun. Hopefully, the little recorder he brought wasn't on! HEE! |

ah shucks That is my weak attempt at Daley's Reel which I learned from a Bryan Sutton CD. Bryan's version must be at least 2 times faster and with more variation and feel...but it's a start! I play a slightly different variation on one of the connection sections...I play it that way now and when I hear this one it sounds 'wrong'.

I don't know Brian, sounds right to me. If I wanted to hear Bryan's version, I'd play the CD. As you know, I do everything my way. It may not be anything like the orginal, but it's mine......... |

Here's some fun I had messing around yesterday with Child's Claim to Fame and my D-18...I almost hit the high notes but not quite
It was recorded and completely mixed on a ZOOM H4 field recorder

So, this is the first time Ive watched Canadian Idol and only because I was blown away by Brians performances...Ive watched them over and over again on You Tube - does anyone know if someone has them on DVD for sale?
Or, how good is the offical Idol DVD - will it show all his performances? |
