I've never heard or seen anything about this before. Mr. Warford: what's the story behind this? It's good stuff. (I don't have a bender (yet), but the things you say make sense.))

Also, I just wanted to let you know it's on YouTube, in case you don't want it up.

Unbridled -

As you know, I have been unable to log on to reply to your post, until now (a problem with the site which has now been fixed by the superb Brian Friend).

First, I have no problem with the material being on YouTube.

Second, the two sides were recorded at different times and locations. The first side was recorded at Gene Parson's shop in Ft Bragg, CA, in late February or early March, 1977 (I had just taken the California Bar Exam a few days earlier, and decided to take a short vacation, including a visit with Gene, who recorded our discussion.

A few weeks later, the other side was recorded in Pomona, CA, at Robb Strandlund's home.

Gene put the two together as a 45-rpm record (as I recall) Incidentally, the photo on YouTube is of me (on the left) and Red Rhodes in the control room at Countryside Records in around 1972.

Thanks, Bob. Good stuff!

Thanks, also, to Brian for the work on the forum!
