Hi.
I'm new to the board, so please forgive me if this has been posted before.
I just got my first b-bender, (B&W-cheap, non-intrusive and good!), and I need to get some licks together. I figure this song is a good place to start.
I've sorted out the intro, but if anyone has tabs for the fills and solo, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
-K. |

Hi Sleek..
I usually play the intro as the break..they are similar with slight variations |

There's these cool double-stops in the lead, and that high lick I need to figure out...
Perhaps I'll be the one to post it...
Hmmm...

Depends on which version you are talking about..theres versions ranging from PLayboy After Dark to Boston Tea Party and Ash Grove...and the one on Untitled/Unissued...they...as alot of Clarence's work got more complicated as time went on...Playboy is the least complex...and you aint going nowhwere was a staple of the live sets so there are alot of versions out there...
If youre talking about what I think youre talking about..in the key of G youre barring the E and B at the 10th fret, ...engage bender 2x...then slide the E and B up to 13 and do it again...then to 8 for your Am...you can do the C move as a 3rd string bend 7-9 or at the third fret on E and B using the bender...I ususally end up staying on the first 2 strings..hit the A at 5 on the E string and fall back to G..
I hope that made sense... |

Sounds like a football play...when do I pass?
Seriously, though, makes sense. I can see it... |

"third string 12th fret -hike", huh?
And actually after positing that, I sat down and played thru the intro...and what I posted is not entirely correct...but it should get you in the door. |
